| Some Piccolo parts free to a good home, or a bad home, I don't really care |

I have some Piccolo V2 parts left over from before I grew to hate it and switched to the GWS Dragonfly, which I love.
I cannot bring myself to just throw the parts in the trash, so I would like to donate them to anyone who wants them.
There are some blades (the ones with the bulge at the end), a few linkages and such. I am not really sure of everything that is in there. A Picoboard is included for sure.
Anyway, whoever is the first reply here on this thread (not by e-mail) will get them. After you have posted your reply to this message, go ahead and send me an e-mail with your mailing address and I will send the parts out.

I'll take a shot at this on behalf of "RADD JR" who just may find some use for a few free spares should his next endeavor be a Piccolo. If he's not interested, then best of luck to the next poster...
Best regards,
Ron |

If Captain Ron doesn't take them, I will. I've got o couple of old Pics that are gathering dust and have been for a while.
It'll give me some incentive to try and make the d@mn things fly.

| Radd jr will be happy to know you thought of him Captain...He actually does have a HB in bare bones waiting for a Picoboard...but he's too small to fight rwm01....perhaps...you dont need the board?.... and perhaps I might have some parts that you might need?.... |

Hard to say, my Piccolos have been sitting for a while (since I got a Shogun). Let me know if there is anything from a Piccolo you might be able to use and I can check what I have.

"Captain...If his bird takes to the air...we'll call it...THE "CAPTAIN RON"...."
Maybe you should call it the "Captain Jon" since Jon is the person donating the parts. I was just trying to get a foot in the door for "RADD JR" in case he might be interested. Thanks for the nice thought though! Hope it all works out OK.
Kind Regards,
Ron |

Captain JonRon....
Got the parts Jon...sorry about the delay...family has been busy and out of town...
Hey?...did you know you forgot to tape the box shut?....My son is the luckiest guy in the world...the shipping guy handed me the box..( shoe box..) and I went for a razor knife to cut it open but then I noticed the lid just lifted right off....totally amazing...everything was safe and sound..
Raddjr is excited..and we hope to have it flying this week...
thanks again Jon.....and you to captain.. |

well?....the Captain JonRon took to the air with Radd jr this weekend...He probably has about ten good flights on it ...short but stable..( 5 to 7 seconds..) .not a thing broken yet...and not bad for an 8 year old...
You'll never guess why it took so long to fly the Cap JonRon?.....
when I got the parts I built the chopper right away...but...when we spun it up it piro'd like a drill bit...So ofcourse being the cynical person I am...I thought Jon had sent a damaged board ( forgive me..)....So...up on the shelve it went...But having my son expecting a hummingbird soon I went off the internet to learn about 4n1's...etc etc...then one night I'm sleeping and it accured to me that I did something wrong...
and sure enough....I had the board upside down...I just cant believe it....turned it right side up and it flew right off the deck....what an amature!!??....
So anyway...it flew perfect...thanks Jon....
all I have is a video from my phone..Radd jr doesnt want me to show it for his wings...but we'll have to have a ceremony soon....so we'll take more... |
