I went one year and met Copterdoctor,CHris Bergen,Mark Ryder,his wife and several other heli folks.....hope I can get back there again sooner than later.Maybe this year.I can never plan on anything,it has to be "last minute".

Was the fly-in as big as everyone around here says it was?... or was it too big? they say 800 to 900 flyers??...

There was a butt load of people not sure on the actual count that year (2007) but every where I went there was recognizeable faces from all the forums.Curtis was there and I got to see him fly in person.I also got to fly Chris Bergens turbine and Kyle Stacys 500 heli (forget the brand) it was awesome.

There were 951 pilots registered as of Saturday night at the 2009 IRCHA. I was not there, but those that were said that there was enough room for all those who wanted to fly at two sites. Of course not all wanted to fly. There was also no problem for those who were not on 2.4 GHz because there were fewer than 10 pilots not on 2.4 I was planning to go this year but the dates coincide with a long planned family reunion, so it will be next year.

Work will not really allow me to go. Also FuFu's school starts before the event so we cannot go this year for sure.
If we would go than a spectators only and we would have to fly there. My schedule is 5 days a week on the road due to project assignments and therefore even a weekend visit is out of question.
